K-Culture Space Terms of Service

Article 1 (Purpose)

These Terms are intended to define the rights, obligations, responsibilities, and other necessary matters between K-Culture Space (hereinafter, the "Company") and users in connection with use of the services provided by the Company.

Article 2 (Definitions)

The definitions of terms used in these Terms are as follows:

  1. "Service" means all services provided by the Company.
  2. "User" means members and non-members who use the services provided by the Company in accordance with these Terms.
  3. "Member" means a person who has registered as a member by providing personal information to the Company, receives Company information on a continuing basis, and can continuously use services provided by the Company.
  4. "Non-member" means a person who uses services provided by the Company without registering as a member.
  5. "Content" means all posts, photos, videos, attachments, links, and other materials posted on the Service by the Company or users.

Article 3 (Rules Other Than These Terms)

Matters not specified in these Terms shall be governed by applicable laws and regulations, including the Telecommunications Business Act, the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, and the Personal Information Protection Act, as well as generally accepted business practices.

Article 4 (Effectiveness and Amendment of Terms)

  1. These Terms apply to all users who wish to use the Service.
  2. The Company may amend these Terms to the extent it does not violate applicable laws and regulations.
  3. If the Company amends these Terms, it shall announce the effective date and reasons for amendment, together with the current Terms, through notice in the Service from at least 7 days before the effective date until the day before the effective date. However, where amendments are disadvantageous to users, the Company shall provide notice at least 30 days in advance.
  4. If a user does not agree to the amended Terms, the user may discontinue use of the Service and request membership withdrawal. If a user continues to use the Service after the effective date of the amended Terms, the user is deemed to have agreed to the amendments.

Article 5 (Conclusion of Service Agreement)

  1. A service agreement is concluded when a user agrees to these Terms, applies for membership by filling out the registration form designated by the Company, and the Company accepts such application.
  2. The Company may refuse acceptance of, or may terminate after acceptance, applications that fall under any of the following:
    The Company accepts applications from all users who satisfy the application requirements.

Article 6 (Changes to Member Information)

  1. Members may view and edit their personal information at any time through the personal information management page.
  2. If information provided at the time of membership registration changes, members shall update it online or notify the Company of such changes by e-mail or other means.
  3. The Company shall not be responsible for any disadvantage caused by a member's failure to notify the Company of changes under Paragraph 2.

Article 7 (Obligation to Protect Personal Information)

The Company shall endeavor to protect members' personal information as required by applicable laws and regulations. Protection and use of personal information shall be governed by applicable laws and the Company's Privacy Policy.

Article 8 (Member ID and Password Management)

  1. Members are responsible for managing their own IDs and passwords and shall not allow third parties to use them.
  2. The Company may restrict use of an ID if there is concern of personal information leakage, if the ID is anti-social or contrary to public morals, or if the ID may cause confusion with the Company or its operator.
  3. If a member becomes aware that the ID and password have been stolen or are being used by a third party, the member shall immediately notify the Company and follow the Company's instructions.
  4. In cases under Paragraph 3, the Company shall not be responsible for any disadvantage arising from a member's failure to notify the Company or failure to follow the Company's instructions even after notification.

Article 9 (User Obligations)

  1. Users shall not engage in the following acts:
    1. Registering false information when applying or making changes
    2. Misappropriating another person's information
    3. Altering information posted by the Company
    4. Transmitting or posting information (including computer programs) other than information designated by the Company
    5. Infringing intellectual property rights such as copyrights of the Company or third parties
    6. Damaging the reputation of, or interfering with the business of, the Company or third parties
    7. Disclosing or posting obscene or violent messages, images, audio, or other information contrary to public order and morals on the Service
    8. Any other unlawful or improper acts
  2. Users shall comply with applicable laws, these Terms, usage guides, notices related to the Service, and matters notified by the Company, and shall not engage in acts that interfere with the Company's business.

Article 10 (Provision and Change of Service)

  1. The Company provides the following services:

    1. Search and viewing of performances and exhibitions: Provides titles, venues, schedules, detailed descriptions, images, and related information on performances and exhibitions, and allows users to search by preferred conditions (categories, regions, tags, etc.).
    2. Personalized recommendations and AI curation: Provides personalized recommendations through user preferences (tags, categories, activity history, etc.) and AI-based analysis, and displays curation results.
    3. Favorites and interest list management: Allows users to bookmark performances and exhibitions and manage them in personalized lists.
    4. Content and community features: Provides bulletin board and community features where users can create and view reviews, posts, and comments.
    5. Tag/category-based classification and filtering: Provides classification, filtering, and tag-based listing features based on tags and categories for works/events.
    6. Notification and push services: Provides push and in-app notifications such as updates to favorite content, chat/comment notifications, and recommendation-related notices.
    7. Chat and AI support features: May provide user inquiry responses and AI-based conversational interfaces (e.g., curation assistance, search support).
    8. Membership/authentication and personal information management: Provides user registration, login, profile management (nickname, photo, etc.), and management features related to personal information processing.
    9. Statistics and personalization (anonymized): Provides anonymized statistics/log analysis for service improvement and analytical features used in personalization models (recommendations, etc.).
    10. Partnerships and external links: Provides links to partners and external content and integration with external services.
    11. Additional services deemed necessary for operation: The Company may add and provide additional features beyond those listed above when necessary for operation.

    The scope of services above may change depending on technical constraints, applicable laws, and partnership policies, and such changes shall be announced in accordance with Article 4.

  2. The Company may change the currently provided services for operational or technical needs if there is a substantial reason.

  3. In providing services to users, the Company provides services free of charge in accordance with applicable laws, these Terms, operational policies, and notices.

Article 11 (Suspension of Service)

  1. The Company may temporarily suspend provision of the Service when maintenance, replacement, or breakdown of information and communication facilities such as computers, or interruption of communications occurs.
  2. The Company shall compensate users or third parties for damages caused by temporary suspension under Paragraph 1. However, this shall not apply where the Company proves there was no intent or negligence.
  3. If the Service cannot be provided due to reasons such as change of business type, discontinuation of business, or integration between companies, the Company shall notify users by the method set forth in Article 4 and compensate consumers according to conditions originally presented by the Company.

Article 12 (Membership Withdrawal and Loss of Qualification)

  1. Members may request withdrawal from membership at any time, and the Company shall process membership withdrawal immediately.
  2. If a member falls under any of the following reasons, the Company may restrict or suspend membership:
    1. Registering false information when applying for membership
    2. Interfering with another person's use of the Service or misappropriating such person's information, thereby threatening electronic commerce order
    3. Using the Service to engage in acts prohibited by laws or these Terms, or acts contrary to public order and morals
  3. After restricting or suspending membership, if the same act is repeated two or more times or the reason is not corrected within 30 days, the Company may terminate membership qualification.
  4. If the Company terminates membership qualification, the Company shall cancel member registration. In this case, the Company shall notify the member and provide at least 30 days for explanation before cancellation.

Article 13 (Provision of Information and Advertisement)

The Company may provide members with information necessary for using the Service through notices, e-mail, and other means. However, the Company shall not provide for-profit advertising information unless the member agrees.

Article 14 (Service Hours)

  1. In principle, service use is available 24 hours a day, year-round, unless there is a special operational or technical issue.
  2. The Company may divide the Service into certain scopes and set separate available hours for each scope. In such case, the Company shall announce the details in advance.

Article 15 (Restriction of Service Use)

  1. The Company may restrict or suspend all or part of the Service in cases of war, civil disorder, natural disaster, or equivalent national emergency, or where a key telecommunications operator under the Telecommunications Business Act suspends telecommunications service, or for other force majeure reasons.
  2. In the event of service suspension under Paragraph 1, the Company shall announce the reason within a reasonable period. If prior notice is unavoidable, the Company shall provide notice afterward.

Article 16 (Management of Posts)

  1. If a member's post is deemed to violate applicable laws, these Terms, or another person's rights, the Company may temporarily block access to or delete such post in accordance with applicable laws.
  2. If the Company deletes a member's post or takes suspension measures under Paragraph 1, the Company shall notify the member of the reason for such measures. However, in urgent cases, notice may be provided afterward.

Article 17 (Copyright of Posts)

  1. Copyright to posts created by members within the Service belongs to the author of each post.
  2. Posts created by members in the Service may be exposed in search results, within the Service, and in related promotions, and may be partially modified, copied, or edited to the extent necessary for such exposure.
  3. The Company shall not use member posts commercially without the member's explicit consent.
  4. Members may at any time use management features within the Service to delete, modify, or set their posts to private.

Article 18 (Limitation of Liability)

  1. The Company is exempt from liability for service provision where the Service cannot be provided due to natural disasters or equivalent force majeure.
  2. The Company is not liable for disruptions to service use caused by reasons attributable to members.
  3. The Company is not liable for members' loss of expected profits from use of the Service, or for damage resulting from materials obtained through the Service.
  4. The Company is not liable for reliability, accuracy, or other aspects of information, data, or facts posted by members.
  5. The Company is exempt from liability for transactions or other dealings between members, or between a member and a third party, conducted through the Service.

Article 19 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

  1. Lawsuits filed between the Company and members shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.
  2. Lawsuits concerning disputes between the Company and members shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the court having jurisdiction over the location of the Company.

Article 20 (Miscellaneous)

  1. Matters not specified in these Terms shall follow applicable laws and regulations.
  2. The Company may establish separate terms and policies for specific services where necessary. If such terms or policies conflict with these Terms, the separate terms and policies shall prevail.

Supplementary Provision

  1. These Terms shall take effect on 2025-12-13.
