Thank you for consistently following the previous skincare recommendation series 🙂 This time, I'd like to change the mood a bit and organize some makeup products that I frequently use and can easily purchase at Olive Young.

I've focused on products that are good for daily, light use, so they might be helpful for those new to Korean makeup. Rather than super glamorous products, these are mainly items that help create a naturally beautiful look haha.

Now, let's briefly introduce each one!

1. Naming Layered Fit Cushion

My skin type is dry, and I don't usually wear heavy makeup, so there are many days when I finish my base makeup simply with just a cushion. The Naming Cushion is widely known as a cushion for oily-combination skin, but even for my dry skin, it adheres well without flaking, so I'm surprisingly more satisfied with it than expected.

I particularly liked how beautifully it makes the skin look. Based on my preferred ivory tone, my skin looks naturally brighter with a subtle glow, giving the overall impression of healthy skin.

Even when applied directly over sunscreen, it doesn't look overly thick; it goes on very naturally while subtly covering blemishes, making it great for daily use.

It's a cushion I often reach for, especially on days when I just want to lightly even out my skin tone 🙂

2. Laka Fruity Glam Tint

Laka Tint is quite famous as a vegan tint, but personally, I keep using it because of the "gloss + longevity" combination.

My lips tend to be dry and have wrinkles, so I don't use matte lip products much. I prefer dewy and glossy tints or glosses. What I liked most about this product is that it has a glossy shine like a gloss but also stains like a tint, ensuring longevity. That's probably why I've already gone through several tubes, I've lost count haha.

It comes in a wide variety of colors, and I wanted to try many, but I've settled on #114 Harmony and continue to use it. My natural lip color is a bit strong, so very light colors don't suit me well, but Harmony has a moderate reddish hue mixed with a slight orange tone, which gives warmth to my warm-toned skin and looks naturally good on me.

Recently, mini sizes have also been released, so they might be good for those who want to test it before buying the full size or those who want to try several colors lightly. I also bought another mini in Salty and alternate between them, and this color also surprisingly gets a lot of use, so I'm quite satisfied with it 🙂

3. Etude Bare Edge Slim Brow

I've always preferred thin-tipped eyebrow pencils over thick ones. This product isn't just a thin round tip; it has a 3D hexagonal slim lead, which makes it especially good for drawing delicate lines like the tail of the eyebrow. It's easy to define the ends sharply, making the overall eyebrow look much neater.

Also, when using eyebrow products, sometimes the color doesn't show up well, perhaps due to oil on the brows. In such cases, you have to apply multiple layers, which feels like unnecessary skin irritation. But with this product, the color comes out quite vividly with just one stroke, reducing that inconvenience.

It comes in 5 colors, making it easy to choose one that matches your hair color. Since I have dyed hair, I use the Light Brown color, and it blends in naturally. It's also convenient that it has a brow pencil on one end and a spoolie brush on the other, so you can do everything from shaping to filling your brows with just this one item.

However, I do feel that the cap loosens a bit with continuous use, which is a minor drawback. Nevertheless, because of its good color payoff and the ability to draw detailed lines with its thin tip, my overall satisfaction with this product is high 🙂

4. So Natural All Day Tight Makeup Setting Fixer

I don't use this product every day, but I always make sure to use it on important appointments or days when I can't touch up my makeup frequently. Spraying it after finishing my makeup definitely feels like it improves longevity, giving me peace of mind when I can't pay attention to my makeup all day.

Especially on days when I have to be out for a long time or when the weather is hot and my makeup might easily melt, I notice a difference. The spray power is also quite good; it spreads evenly like a mist, so no water droplets form on my face, and it adheres thinly. This made it nice because it didn't feel heavy or unnatural when sprayed over makeup.

While it's not an everyday essential, it's definitely a helpful product to have when needed, so I continue to use it consistently 🙂

5. Cosnori Eyelash Serum Vegan Eyelash Enhancer

I don't usually wear heavy makeup, but since my eyelashes are completely straight, using an eyelash curler makes my eyes look much clearer and prettier. So, I get a lash perm periodically, about once every two months.

Lash perms are convenient because the curl stays nicely without needing a curler, but afterwards, my eyelashes definitely feel a bit dry, so it's good to use a serum with it.

That's why I started using the Cosnori Eyelash Vegan Serum. This product comes in two types: clear and black. I use the black color because I want my eyelashes to look a bit more defined.

When applied, it gives a subtle mascara-like effect, making my eyelashes look clearer, so even on days when I wear almost no makeup, just applying this makes my eyes look much more defined. And best of all, even though it's black, there's almost no smudging, making it suitable for daily use without worry.

It allows me to care for my eyelashes while also naturally enhancing their definition, so I think it would be particularly well-suited for those who, like me, frequently get lash perms 🙂
