Mulgeum Cherry Blossom Festival

The Mulgeum Cherry Blossom Festival is an annual family-friendly event held from late March to early April, coinciding with the cherry blossom season. Taking place at Hwangsan Park, the largest waterfront park along the Nakdong River, and the cherry blossom road near Mulgeum Station, the festival aims to provide a healing experience for all ages and boost local commerce. Since 2024, it has been a city-representative festival, offering diverse exhibitions, hands-on programs, and outdoor relaxation areas. A highlight is the cherry blossom road, temporarily closed to vehicles for pedestrians, featuring beautiful night lighting. The festival runs from April 4 to April 5, 2026, from 10:00 to 21:00, with free admission (some activities may be paid).
